That's why every house removal starts with a free survey, in person or by video. We look at the volume of furniture and boxes, the access at both addresses and any items that need special handling. You then get one written price covering the crew, the van, mileage and any packing. No hourly rate means no clock-watching on the day.
What happens on moving day
The crew arrives at the agreed time with blankets, straps and tools. Furniture is wrapped before it leaves the room, beds and wardrobes are taken apart, and the van is loaded so the heaviest items travel safely. At your new home we unload room by room, rebuild the furniture we dismantled, and do a final walk-round with you before we leave. For most 2 to 3-bed London moves this happens in a single day.
Completion day, chains and late keys
Completion days rarely run to the minute. We build slack into the schedule for late key releases and can hold your belongings on the van for a short wait. If your chain collapses or completion moves, tell us as early as you can and we'll move the date where we have space.
